Get ready to sing some songs, enjoy some skits, laugh with your friends and collect items for those in need. The annual Pack Family Winter Campfire is a time to remember the Cubscouts who have worked hard with their families to raise money for the Pack programs and to also remember those in need.
All Scouts and their families are invited to participate in an event that we look forward to each year. We will be meeting in the parking lot outside the trinity gym and the event will not be canceled due to bad weather. In the case of rain or snow, the event will move indoors to the gym. Dress warm and bring your camp chairs to set up around the fires. Some type of snack and hot chocolate will be served.
Its time to clean out your attic and closets of all those nice old coats that you are saving for a time that will probably never come. Most of us have been in a situation at some point when we were cold and didn’t have on the right clothing to stay warm. It’s an uncomfortable and disorienting feeling that leaves you unable to think about much else, other than how cold you are. Unfortunately, for millions of people, this can be a constant problem. Sometimes a warm coat is all it takes to ease a burden and warm a heart – especially during the winter months. Coats should be lightly used and clean.
In addition to coats, we will also be collecting toys and non perishable food. Toys should be new and unwrapped and all food should be canned or "non perishable."
