Outdoor ethics is deeply ingrained in the BSA program. No place is this more important than in the outdoors. Scouting and Venturing have a long, proud tradition of conservation service to the nation. How do we preserve that tradition? By heeding the challenge in the Outdoor Code:
As an American, I will do my best to— Be clean in my outdoor manners. Be careful with fire. Be considerate in the outdoors. Be conservation minded.
Join us in the Picnic Area at Grover Cleveland Park and see what skills our local Scout Troops and Venturing Crew can share with us. Stations will be set up and the scouts will have the opportunity to learn about each topic.
This event will have Cub Scouts from Pack 6 and Pack 9. Stations will be set up by local BSA Scouts and Venturing Crews. Please come out for a great morning!
