William H. Pouch Scout Camp is located in Staten Island and is New York City's only Scout Camp. Pouch Camp is open year-round for Scouting activities and is accessible by mass transit. The camp is approximately 143 acres. The Camp also includes 16 lean-to sites, 18 tent sites, and a low-impact Camp-O-Ree field with an adjacent amphitheater. There are numerous Picnic Groves as well as a Chapel for our visitors to utilize.
We have booked tent sites Q and S for our Family Camp Out!
Program will begin at 9 AM on Saturday April 25, 2020. We will spend the day hiking, fishing, practicing archery and cub camp skills. As the sun goes down we will prepare for our famous Pack 846 campfire program. Dens will perform skits, songs and jokes.
If you would like a suggested packing list, please see your Den Leader. Don't forget your fishing gear!
Uniform: Class B T-Shirts should be worn for the daytime activities. Class A uniform should be worn for the evening.
Meals: Pack 846 will provide lunch, dinner and dessert Saturday and breakfast Sunday morning.
