NEW for 2021 RACE - Not only are we looking for the fasted car, but this year Pinewood Derby cars will also be judged for the following categories:
· Best Paint Job
· Fastest Looking
· Judges Favorite
· Funniest
· Most Patriotic
· Most Unusual Shape
· Most Artistic
· Best Workmanship
· Best Sports Theme
· Scout Spirit
We are planning for a Virtual event via Live Stream that will look much different than it was in years past. We will keep you posted with more info.
Important Dates:
Drop Off – Deadline 01/29/2020
The Pinewood Derby Drop-Off this year will be porch drop off at your den leader’s house.
The weight of the car must not be over 5oz.
If the weight is over, the PWD committee will remove some weight and get it close to 5oz. If it is under, but not by too much, they will leave it.
You want to get your car as close to 5oz as possible without going over.
If you don't have a scale, use the vegetable scale at the grocery store! Or reach out to your den leader.

February 6th - Race!! - Race times in intervals by Den. Only that Den can be in the gym at time of their race.

This year we will NOT be including the Sibling Race or the Unlimited Race.
