Pack Meeting!
November 12th -- 7PM
disAbilities
Awareness Challenge
The purpose of the Boy Scouts of America is to provide an educational program for youth to build character, to train in the responsibilities of participating citizenship, and to develop personal fitness.
The mission of the disAbilities Awareness Challenge is to instill in participants knowledge and sensitivity to various types of disabilities that impact the human race.
The vehicle to instill that knowledge and sensitivity is a collection of experience based exercises designed to simulate, as closely as possible, some of the challenges to everyday living created by various disabilities.
The simulations are presented in the form of activities typically encountered by Scouts in unit, school and community settings.

In addition to the disAbilities Awareness Program, Scouts that earned their Religiious Knot by participating in a Religious Emblem Program in 2021 will be receiving their Religious Knot at this Pack Event. Religious Knots are permanent patches that can be worn on the cub scout uniform and also travel with the cub scout when they Cross Over.
