Pack 846 hike of the month
Hemlock Falls February 3rd (Saturday)

Location 64 Cherry Lane, West Orange, NJ 07052
3.6 mile hike,~250 foot elevation change
(similar to last month's hike at Tripod Rock)
We are going to hike past two waterfalls (Hobble Falls and Hemlock Falls), and hopefully they will be frozen due to the recent cold weather and make for some 'cool' pictures. We are going to hike roughly 1.5 miles out on the LenapeTrail passing 'Ball's Bluff' and 'Mines Point', and we'll return on the Summit Trail. Hopefully we will get some half decent views from Summit Field.
Don't forget to bring:
Hiking boots, Rain gear, Backpack and the 6 Essentials for scouting!
(flashlight, filled waterbottle, whistle, first aid kit, sun protection, and trail food)
