No cars will be accepted on the race day without being checked in first on Thursday, Feb 22rd!!

Important Dates:
- February 4th - Pinewood Derby WORKSHOP (Trinity Gym) - 1:00PM - 3:00PM. At the workshop, tools are available that you may not have at home to get your car in derby shape. Don’t miss this opportunity to get your car ready for race day and maybe make your life a bit easier too!

- February 22rd - Pinewood Derby Check-in (Trinity Gym) 6:30PM - 8:30PM. At the check-in you car will be officially measured and weighed. Check out the race rules to make sure your car measures up. Pack 846 Pinewood Rules Jan2024.pdf.
If you wish to submit an unlimited car, rules 2-6 and 14 apply. Maximum weight for unlimited submissions is down to 5oz (a change from last year).

- February 24th - Pinewood Derby!! (Trinity Gym) - 2:00PM-7:00PM. Snacks/refreshments will be available for purchase. Please sign-up to donate an item to our Snack Shop. Every bit helps to pay for our fantastic programs. Donations can be driopped off at the PWD Check-in. All extra concessions are donated to the Caldwell Food Pantry.

Scoring method:
All cars will race four times, once in each lane.
Their race time from each race will be added, creating a cumulative time.
Winners for each rank (1st, 2nd, 3rd) will be determined by the lowest cumulative race time.
The fastest cars from each rank will be in the finals, for an overall pack winner (1st, 2nd, 3rd)
The Pack winners will advance to the District Pinewood Derby in April!!!!
