Jockey Hollow 

May 18th  (Saturday)

Meet @ 9:00AM

We will meet at the parking lot listed as "Grand Parade Road, Mendham NJ 07945".  It is at the intersection of Sugarloaf Road, Cemetery Road, and Grand Parade Road, as seen below.

The hike is a good 3.0 mile loop with a 400 foot elevation change, so it's not quite as long as we have done, but more up and down hills.  We will pass through the Continental Army Encampments, and have a scenic lookout at Sugarloaf Peak which has an elevation of 751 feet.  Pending clear weather, we might get some nice views.  Hope to see you all at 9:00 for a fun hike! 

Don't forget to bring:

Hiking boots, Rain gear, Backpack and the 6 Essentials for Scouting!

(flashlight, filled waterbottle, whistle, first aid kit, sun protection, and trail food)
