Meet-up: 'Mount Tammany Red Dot Trailhead Parking' Lot
Everyone should park at the 'Mount Tammany Red Dot Trailhead Parking' Lot. If the lot overflows, people can park at the 'Appalachian National Trailhead Parking'. Neither of these lots have physical addresses, but come up easily on Google Maps.
Difficulty: Medium
We are going to Hike Mount Tammany, which is on the Delaware Water Gap. The hike is a bit shorter, at 3.5 miles, but there is some minor rock climbing involved, so it takes quite a bit more effort! At the top of the hike is a beautiful scenic overlook of the Delaware River. But the BEST part of the hike is when we're done, because we're going to walk past our cars, through an underpass, under route 80 and go swimming in the Delaware River! People can also fish in the Delaware if they'd like.
Please bring lots to drink, a few snacks, and a lunch so we can make a day out of it. https://www.njhiking.com/mt-tammany/

Hiking boots, Rain gear, Backpack and the 6 Essentials for Scouting!
(flashlight, filled waterbottle, whistle, first aid kit, sun protection, and trail food)
