Lenape Trail/Eagle Rock Reservation
February 1st (Saturday)
Meet @ 9:00AM
For our next hike we are going to explore the Eagle Rock Reservation with some amazing views of New York City (weather depending) and travel a short section of the Lenape Trail. It will be an easy 2.5 mile hike along the ridge of the reservation before looping back through the woods.
We will be parking at the "Eagle Rock Trail Parking Lot". You can enter that directly into Google Maps, or if you enter the reservation via Crest Drive from Eagle Rock Ave, drive past the Highlawn Pavilion, bear to the left and begin to loop back around toward Eagle Rock Ave. and we will park in the lot there.
Try to arrive a few minutes before 9:00 so we can start on time!
Don't forget to bring:
Hiking boots, Rain gear, Backpack and the 6 Essentials for Scouting!
(flashlight, filled water bottle, whistle, first aid kit, sun protection, and trail food)
