No cars will be accepted on the race day without being checked in first on
Tuesday, Feb 4th!! 6:30PM - 8:30PM (Trinity Cafeteria)
Important Dates:
- January 18th- Pinewood Derby WORKSHOP (Trinity Cafeteria) 12:30PM - 3:00PM. At the workshop, tools are available that you may not have at home to get your car in derby shape. Don’t miss this opportunity to get your car ready for race day and maybe make your life a bit easier too!

- February 4th- Pinewood Derby Check-in (Trinity Cafeteria) 6:30PM - 8:30PM. At the check-in your car will be officially measured and weighed. Check out the race rules to make sure your car measures up. Pack 846 Pinewood Rules Jan2025.pdf
If you wish to submit an "unlimited" car (a car submitted by family members), rules 2-6 and 15 apply. Maximum weight for unlimited submissions is down to 5oz.

Free yourself from worrying about dinner for the night. Fare, available for purchase, will include hot subs and chicken tenders.
Note, we are not just looking for the fastest car. Just like in previous years, your scout will have the opportunity to win a Superlative Award! Another way to compete.

Scoring method:
All cars will race four times, once in each lane.
Their race time from each race will be added, creating a cumulative time.
Winners for each rank (1st, 2nd, 3rd) will be determined by the lowest cumulative race time.
The fastest cars from each rank will be in the finals, for an overall pack winner (1st, 2nd, 3rd)
The Pack winners will advance to the District Pinewood Derby in April!!!!
